Hello to everyone who came out to the Bazaar Bizarre and said hello! Sorry if I didn’t have that thing you wanted, but I am more than happy to make it for you now that the show season is over. If you order sometime this week, I should be able to craft and complete it for you before the weekend. Shipping is $5.25, but if you live on the west side of Cleveland, I think we can arrange a personal delivery.

Drop me an email, and I’ll sew whatever cubed critter you desire.

I should just stop updating this damn site. Every time I do, something goes wrong. So now the Shop isn’t working. If there’s something you’d like to buy, just email me and I will make it for you in the meantime. Until I figure out what stupid-ass thing I did wrong this time, make sure you attend the never-not-awesome Cleveland Summer Bazaar Bizarre on July 2nd at the Larchmere Festival. I will be there.

Whew! That was a fun show, and I had a hell of a great time. It was great to see such a huge crowd.

Okay, now, those of you who are checking out my shop and stammering at my shipping rates, I am sorry. The toys are lightweight but big, so I have to go with a bigger Priority Mail Box. If you’re in the  Cleveland area, drop me an email and let me know and I’ll see what I can do to save you on shipping. I’m looking at other options as we speak. And if you’re in the Cleveland area, chances are you are going to want to get it before Christmas, so we’ll have to arrange something outside the USPS.

Also! Your deadline for Christmas orders is now December 20! I am putting a rush on all orders, so get ‘em in!

I was thinking that I should make a coupon for those of you joining me at Bazaar Bizarre West. So I did. That’s right! Save $2.00 off your purchase of chile con yarne goodness at BazBiz West on December 11 and 12. Limit 1 coupon per person, don’t be makin’ copies and comin’ back every ten minutes. Aaaanyhoo, print out the coupon and come on out to the show to shop and shoot the shit. And support local crafters. That is also important.

Hi everybody that I saw at the Eastside Bazaar Bizarre! Yes, it was cold and the building had no heat, but we still had fun, right? Absolutely.

Yes, I know there isn’t much here in my web shop, but that just means you need to come to the Westside Show on December 11 and 12! As always, if you wanted to buy something in particular, drop me a line and let me know. If you contact me before the BazBiz West, I should be able to bring your order to the show and save you on shipping. Forget what I had? Click here, or tell me something completely different.

Time to split, I have entirely too much sewing to do.

I have disappointed you. And I am sorry. Fact is, I ended up signing up for three- count ‘em- THREE craft shows. All my spare time has been dedicated to sewing. (School’s been suffering, sure, but I MUST SEW.)

So, sorry I haven’t posted pie. Feel free to come express your disappointment this Friday and Saturday at 13010 Larchmere Boulevard for the East Cleveland Bazaar Bizarre. That’s where I’ll be!

Bring me pie!

Hey gang. So the site was down the other day. I am still working out what happened and how to keep it from happening again, but something strange happened, aside from my bandwidth exploding and my server host putting the kibosh on my sites.

It seems that in the beginning of August, an old boycott site of mine, Free to Stitch – Free to Bitch, was slammed with bots out of nowhere. Now, the boycott ended years ago, and I simply changed the homepage to state that it ended, removing the links to the various parts of the site. Stupid me, I didn’t remove the other parts themselves, including the forum.

I don’t know what brought on the sudden spammer attack, but I am looking into it. Been banning IPs left and right, shutting off access to parts of my sites, and looking into what might have caused this. It’s the strangest thing. One day there’s next to zero traffic, and the next day (August 7th, it appears) I’m slammed.

Anyone with more knowledge about these kinds of things, please let me know.

Junlge Cats

Yesterday, I ran outside with camera and sheet and 24 of my 35 cubimals for a quick and dirty photo session. Now that we have some decent pics, we can update the Etsy site, as well as the shop around here. Very important.

Check out all the critters photographed below, or head to my Flickr page.

In the meantime, yes, I have been putzing around with the site theme and continue to be unhappy with the themes I download. All of them seem to be missing something important… which means I’m going to need to make my own from scratch.

Tomorrow will be the crafty photoshoot at last with my dear friend Meghan. So with my own crappy camera and crappy photo skills, here’s some shots of what the hell I’ve been up to.

Here’s a big plastic bin nearly full of finished cubimals. After Halloween, I may have to buy a few more on sale in festive colors.

Waiting for buttholes to be sewn up.

Also waiting for buttholes to be sewn up, but turned around so you can see them.

Waiting to get stuffed.

So the count as of this writing is 34. Whew. I’ve just found some more fleece in the remnant bin, and there is another toy design that I haven’t photographed yet, but they came out damn cuter than I expected. And they need names. Maybe I will show you them tomorrow.

I’ve also got to finish the cat toys. I’ve got the cat fortune cookies all cut out, I’m just putting off stuffing them with catnip to the last moment so Darla doesn’t run off with any. I’m also thinking of throwing together some catnip dog cat bones.

And I have class tonight. Don’t ask me how I’m getting this all done, I’m not sure and if I stop to ponder it, it might make me sad.
